OlDirtyEwok
Damn i didn't think Monte 2's could be that bad. Hopefully that was just a one off. Nice editing though
surreypuffer
Nice review Waylon.. And a nice Toque too.!! Shame about your Monte 2. When they are on, they really shine. IMHO. BTW the 1:28 mark.. LOL Cheers
BRAC
Good review DSG! I've never had a great Monte 2. Most have been bland to say the least. Rick

GrouchoMarx
Love the monte 2. Just received a box last week. Perhaps its not a good idea to review a cigar when one has a cold?
Cisco
Monte#2 are notoriously variable, a result of being one of the most highly produced cigars coming out of Cuba (Monte4s and PSD4s are also very variable). That being said, one of the best cigars I've ever enjoyed is a Monte#2. When on, they can be spectacular. bikermarc, BRAC, Sanchez and 1 other

The first box I had was a 10 count box from 2010 and they were bland as bland can be.
Cisco
Those 2014 LUBs are likely to be excellent. I thinks it's a great grab...I guess the proof will be in the pudding though. BRAC
daman2270
Very unfortunate... when they are on they are amazing.
Bos
I have a few boxes from 2013. Same year it won Cigar Aficionado's COY (it hadn't been announced at the time of purchase though). Everyone so far has been magic. There may be a few Brothers out there that I have bombed with them. If you have one from me then savour the moment. Set aside the time to appreciate it. It will be cigar bliss. mcicvara
