Nice! I wish had stocked up on those 21s and the 17s before they were discontinued. The new(ish now) 18s are good but not as good as the old 17s.

@mcicvara " confiscated Cuban cigars and Global Entry revoked." Can you provide any additional information? What do you mean by Global Entry? Thanks in advance!

What did you think of it?

Happy Birthday @Boss Hog!

Slowly... 🤣

"Was thinking just say I brought them over and I’m bringing them back." As always, it depends on the officer but...even if you legitimately bough the cigars in Canada and brought them into the States and then back to Canada, you can get charged. Having detailed receipts helps but if you don't, an officer can make you pay the duties and taxes.

Following-up on @Bos's post in the chatbox, CigarDave has passed away. While I did not meet him directly (I wanted to visit his cigar store in Rama to meet the man), Dave was an active member in the early days of CCF and an all round brother of the leaf. My condolences go out to his family and friends. https://www.orilliamatters.com/obituaries/simcoe-david-rene-6123756

But they appear to export to the US only. They likely don't sell locally in the DR.

I thought Alex left the island? How can these be Alex rolls unless they are not from Cuba? BTW, I cherish my Alex rolls I bought from the man himself when I visited back in 2020 with the Puro Studio crew.

Silencio Connecticut Robusto Review
Cisco replied to rosajaniszewska's topic in Non-Cuban Reviews (written)
Sounds like you got a bit nic-sick. Try having something sweet to eat or drink with your cigars. It might help with the nausea. -
Happy Anniversary!

How was it?

Right Off The Truck, in other words, fresh from delivery. @quickme's advice is spot on. Can't go wrong with a starter setup like that. It'll be rock solid at maintaining humidity. Not pleasing to the eye of course but it'll suffice until you get an heirloom quality setup for the man cave.

Is that ROTT? How did it smoke? PSP2, to me, are up there with the best CC torpedoes, but they do require aging...at least they used to, who know these days.

Plus, it eats into the cigar budget! Saying those Japan A5 Kobe and Hida "look marbly" would be an understatement!
-
I see you're trying to compete with @Bacchus regarding the number of cigars smoked in a day....good luck!

Happy Birthday @tricam_bob!

True...until they don't..and that day may be sooner than we think given some of China's economic woes of late. Also, China is fickle. Bordeaux wines became crazy expensive in the mid 2000's due to demand from China. Today, they are not as in demand and prices have dropped (not all but mid-level wines). Sure Cohibas and Trinidads may now and forever be out of my purchasing plans, but they were never really in mine to begin with. Give me regular production sticks all day. Price me out of these, and I will move on, back to NCs where I started. China can have them and I predict a majority of others will act as I do.
