I smoked this on Halloween. Unfortunately, it was all trick and no treat.
The one thing this cigar has going for it is looks. Unfortunately, it ends there. The cigar has a great looking wrapper with a lovely shine to it. There isn’t much of a scent though when I smell it pre-light.
The cigar begins poorly. There’s very little to taste here. It’s extremely mild and and quite boring. It is smooth though. I get a very faint bit of spice on the tongue about 20 minutes in. There is little to no finish on this cigar. You take a draw, taste nothing, then there’s nothing on the finish. The construction is pretty good thankfully. I only had to do one or two touch ups. The burn line is wavy but it’s not a big deal and mostly corrects itself.
As things progess, I begin to get a bit of an ashy taste. There’s really no improvement at all throughout the cigar and I put it down with about a third of the cigar remaining.
These cigars have about 18 months of age on them and I have 9 more! I won’t touch the others for another couple of years. Hopefully some age will help.
Construction notes: Very good construction. Draw was pretty wide open and only needed one or two touchups to correct a wavy burn line.
When to smoke it: Don’t smoke these now. I’ll come back in two years time.

The Good
- Maybe it will be better with age?
- Construction
The Bad
- Extremely bland and boring flavor profile
