I don't have much to say because I forgot I had a team meeting scheduled and I was more focused on that then the actual flavours. It was a medium bodied smoke, no strength that I could sense, and one I would like to try again and be able to pay attention to it. It seemed to have some complexity to it and the flavours are in my wheelhouse. Just had the same! Giving it my full attention. Some Graham cracker throughout, solid burn, best draw I've ever had from AB. Notes of almonds and a bit of vanilla near the end. A big ol stick and the best AB I've had. mcicvara, gk404, Burtess and 9 others 12 Quote
mcicvara Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 The King is dead. Dead indeed, that was the last one. Got to buy more Caldwell, they are all good. Sanchez, PolarBear, jazie and 12 others 15 Quote
Sanchez Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Drew Estate Undercrown a NC favourite of mine. Usually one can count on lots of cool smooth creamy smoke with hints of coco and spices.and this one was no exception. Burtess, gk404, MylesK and 14 others 17 Quote
surreypuffer Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I really cant remember the last time I smoked a N.C.?. Let alone 2 days in a row.. Yesterday a Padron which was o.k. Tonight a stick I've had around for 8 years.. This one may be better. Construction is good, draw good, decent toasted tobacco flavor.. dont really like the box press tho.... Cheers tricam_bob, MylesK, mcicvara and 13 others 16 Quote
Andy Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Alex Bradley 2nds robusto. Tasted like tobacco. Good. Socks and sandals. Burtess, Smokie4ever, Sanchez and 12 others 14 1 Quote
cigar_puffer Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Camancho Corojo Churchill. This one has been sitting in my humidor for at least 6 years. When young, I found it very strong and it would give me a nicotine buzz. After the long resting period, it has mellowed out considerably. Not a very complex smoke and a bit on the dry side. It did however perform flawlessly for 3 hours! Cisco, Andy, Burtess and 14 others 17 Quote

Bacchus Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 I'm revisiting an old cigar that I used to smoke like 15-20 years ago, Fuente Curly Head! What I'm getting from the get go is dried, almost bitter almonds and some Graham cracker notes. A very mellow smoke like I remembered. Burn is very nice and straight. They are cheap and cheerful so I decided to buy a box and I'm happy I did! quickme, jazie, Cisco and 11 others 14 Quote
Sanchez Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Pardon 1964 Diplomatico this one has been aging for 2-3 years and in my opinion it loses a little something something. Still has lots of smoke output and nice tobacco flavour. Other than a bit of raisin and nuts there’s no real transitions. It could just be me today. gk404 Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Today’s smoke was a La Barba Ricochet robusto Really enjoyed this one. Started off similar to a Hoyo and ended like a PSD4. Nicotine kick is on the high side. Lots of subtle flavours. I’m going to have to get more of these. Sanchez, quickme, Burtess and 12 others 15 Quote
jazie Posted June 4, 2020 Author Posted June 4, 2020 I have been eyeing this Undercrown Ratzilla from @KK33 for a while now! Just a delicious prelight smell...leathery sweet tobacco. Typical big smoke show from drew estate with some almonds and wonderful tobacco sweetness. A definite strong nic hit as well. Thanks KK! taxedman, MylesK, Sanchez and 14 others 17 Quote
Burtess Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Enjoying this Black Label Trading Co. Royalty in robusto courtesy of Brother @Cold Smoke, accompanied by my first mojito of the year (courtesy of the mojito mint that has spread throughout my garden 😂)... Extremely well constructed cigar but the label almost looks like it was made on an inkjet printer 😝 Lots of cream, slightly bitter coffee, leather, plenty of smoke 👍🏻👍🏻 jazie, surreypuffer, MylesK and 12 others 15 Quote
Smokie4ever Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Oliva G robusto - medium body and strength. Started with just a slight hint of pepper. Mainly light earth, tobacco and some herb flavours. Nice and enjoyable all around. mcicvara, Sanchez, bikermarc and 12 others 15 Quote
Bacchus Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 A VERY rare cigar tonight, a Nosotros. A bit of history; This was a very short lived (about 6 months) collaboration between Illusione and Drew Estates in 2010 before they pulled the plug on the whole project. Nobody really knows why, and I think it was very unfortunate. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a 5pack at the time, and that is my last one... Lots of leather and almond notes enveloped in a nice cedar finish. Midway through I strated to get some nice coffee notes. The draw and construction was perfect! tricam_bob Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Cornelius & Anthony Cornelius and an empty glass. Beautifly constructed cigar with a prefect burn. Spicy, earthy (cedar), nutty with some sweetness on the lips and tip of the tongue. quickme, bikermarc, mcicvara and 11 others 14 Quote
Hammer Smokin' Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 2 hr 20 mins.Long smoke.Quite light with no pepper or other harsh elements. Was able to retro hale without issue.Sorta a nutty earthy taste. Not great with describing cigars. But this one was most enjoyed.Sent from my SM-A505W using Tapatalk gk404, quickme, Cisco and 4 others 7 Quote
surreypuffer Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Day 3 This cigar has been in my procession since 2012 apparently...Hiding out with his other N.C buddies.... CAO Maduro - good, draw, good construction. Decent flavour - toasted tobacco. Again dislike the box press. And it seems like it produces a lot more smoke than a C.C... Cheers.! MylesK Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Sparked this one this morning. I smoked one of them about 2 years ago and pitched it halfway as it was not good. Just bland and over tasting like straight tobacco. I was hoping they would improve with rest but no. There is a little bit more flavour but overall a lack luster cigar. Disappointed, especially after reading reviews on it. Smokie4ever, jazie, MattOB and 7 others 10 Quote
jazie Posted June 4, 2020 Author Posted June 4, 2020 Interesting to read through reviews here, helps me with future purchases! Quote

I just don't get why I'm not getting anything from it. I can't seem to taste any of the flavours mentioned in reviews. I'm just getting straight tobacco with a touch of some indistinguishable flavours. I have 2 more so I'm going to try it again at some point. Quote
Sanchez Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 This My Father de las Antilles Maduro is curtesy of my SS. I didn’t have to try too hard to taste any flavours with this cigar. Lots of coco, leather and spices. A very nice cigar! mcicvara, PolarBear, Cisco and 11 others 14 Quote
bikermarc Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 A Lalibertad robusto from 2016 I found in the “lost archives“. Not spectacular but nice, smooth, mild with faint hints of almonds on the first half. surreypuffer, MattOB, taxedman and 10 others 13 Quote
