Had a Davidoff Millennium Blend Toro. Not a bad stick but I don't get the Davidoff hype.

I must agree with your comment on Davidoff. I bought a box of Davidoff Special R (Robusto's) after receiving one as a gift from a buddy. They are very good, mild, mid day smoke. But the cost of the box (I think was around $400) is way too much. I would much rather buy some Padrons if we're talking non cuban, or even a box of LE cubans (10 box) for $400. Having said this, Davidoff makes some incredible pipe tobacco called Flake Medallions. Virginia with Perique and Cavendish core disk's. Just fantastic.

Just opened a Ashton Magnum Robusto box tonight. Nicely made mild cigar, nutmeg and coffee flavors. Easy draw, nice creamy smoke.

Beautiful weather here in Ontario last night. I was saving a steak that was given to me by a buddie from Huntsville. Fired up a nice Padron 1964 Natural. Sipped on some Alberta Premium Dark Horse Whiskey and seared a nice RibEye steak.

Those look great guys! Padron and steak always seems to pair nicely! I nubbed a Cohiba Robusto the other day. Don't have them too often but when I do they are fantastic. What program are you guys using for your uploads, I use photobucket for mobile. Seems to work pretty good.

I've been using Photobucket, on my PC, not sure about the mobile thing. We just got a new computer so I have to get the ICloud thing going, so it doesn't take so much time uploading and transfering, etc..

Just enjoyed a nice Hoyo Epicure De Luxe. It certainly was good, but I still prefer the Epicure Especiale much better (not sure about the spelling on that Especiale, lol.) I don't have the box with me right now..

Hi all,

Enjoyed an Arturo Fuente curly head last night after dinner. First of the four that I bought a few months ago. It was fantastic! The draw was perfect and the flavours were quite complex. I found overall cocoa and raisin flavours, but there were puffs of dry bark, espresso, and traces of black pepper and cherry. Definitely going to pick up more of these.

Had a fabulous cigar last night. These Warlock Robusto's are always tasty and burn excellent. I walked away from this cigar for 5 minutes at a time to go inside, come back out and start puffing with no relight required. I paired it with a Samuel Adams Holiday Porter, great beer.

While not really in the "now" This was rather sunday afternoon working on the yard and prepping my shed for winter blah blah..

It could have been the fact that I was doing other things other than relaxing and enjoying, but I found this undercrown robusto to be not as enjoyable as the previous Belicoso i had a couple weeks back. I think i'll need to let them rest a little longer. It tasted "young" so to speak.. Which is contradictory to people who say undercrowns smoke well new.

Burn was awesome, even throughout the inconsistent draws i've been doing between trimming branches from my tree, cleaning etc. Construction was awesome as usual. Burn time was about just under 2 hours or so. Mostly because I wasn't puffing regularly. Only had to relight once due to my inactivity. And who can forget the TONS of smoke billowing out of any Liga product!

Picked up a Joya de Nicaragua cabinetta corona No. 11 from Thomas Hinds in Toronto on Monday and enjoyed it on the Jack Astor's rooftop patio at Yonge and Dundas. The cigar was very satisfying though fairly one dimensional despite the unique blend of wrappers. Consistent flavours of burnt espresso with hits of maybe walnut or almond. It was burning quite hot by the end and I only had a few puffs of the maduro wrapper before it became too hot and sour and I left it. For $12, there are definitely a great many other cigars that I will try before picking up another one of these.

Love the Unicos. I also find that keeping it at lower humidity prevents that oily build on the head which is bitter as all get out. Kept at 70+ requires more purging. Great smoke though.

I agree. Years back when I first got into humidors, cigar collecting, etc..I was paranoid about keeping it as close to 70% as possible. Not anymore. I found the humidity in Ontario, especially in the summer is just way too high and I dislike the taste of a cigar that has to be re-lit over and over again. I am now finding that with Boveda packs, 65% in all my table top humidors, Cuban and non Cuban are perfect burners. I have gone inside on some non cubans for 5 minutes (Warlock, Padron, Ashton VSG) at a time and come out, still lit nicely and a cooler smoke. It works for me. Regards,

I just finished smoking a Partagas Culebras with my uncle. I was a little skeptical at first thinking that this cigar would not smoke properly, but wow was I impressed.

I had to touch up a few small parts but this thing was amazing. Towards the end it became to difficult to keep together, but i cant wait to have another one of these in the near future.
