CigarDave Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Today started with a cappuccino. I paired that up with a Quai D'Orsay Imperiales. We just stopped carrying the line. We may pick it up again but even at our prices it was a pricey stick, at $35. Great cigar though. Fantastic flavouts of light tobacco an mild leather undertones. It also had sweetness towards the middle part and very suble licorice undertones. Every so often I grab one of these and am reminded what a great line it is, for a lighter stick. This was however a great breakfast.
DrinkSmokeGolf Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Had this yesterday. It was a bit disappointing. Very smooth, but flavour profile was too subdued.
CigarDave Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 If that's the short Robusto T I found the same thing. Not even close to the Coloniales for an example.
Smokenscotch Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 nice ashtray!! You took the words right out of my mouth.

Smokenscotch Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Update to the Quay lol I've never tried one but wow, nice bloom on that cigar!
kidvett Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Trinidad Short Robusto LE 2010 has been rated as a ``dud`` at most places...Still have one in the humi but will probably let it age...if I'm to ever smoke it !! Mk
smoke Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Rainy and windy on Saturday so I had a short Arturo Fuente petite corona. Beautiful on Sunday, so brought out something a little longer, a nice Saint Luis Rey maduro belicoso after raking the leaves. Great way to wind down the afternoon.
Smokenscotch Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Last night Jeeper4fun came over so the wives had drinks and we engaged in cigars and drinks. He also brought this pumpkin, cigar smoking pumpkin. I had a Partagas Serie P #2 with Wisers and Ginger. Great combo, nice night for Halloween.
CigarDave Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Relaxing on deck of Casa before work with a cappuccino and a Robaina Unicos. Put the heaters on because who wants to be cold. Got the panels on with clear plastic and frames. Modified the lattice panels in pergola to shelter from snow and rain.
Smokenscotch Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Those stinky cigar ashtrays are great For sure, I really like it. Might need the car model too, lol.

kidvett Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Short walk outside tonight w/ a Cuaba Divinos....Did the job very well ! Mk
Smokenscotch Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 This weekend I had a few cigars and Pipes (Pipes in Pipe section of the forum) Both were fantastic. Friday night was an Aging Room 356 with Scotch. Last night was a La Gloria Cubana from a special edition Jar of Deliciosos's I bought in March of 2011. I smoked it with a Mill Street Coffee Porter. Great weekend of the Cigar
CigarDave Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Nice jar! That's one I haven't tried is the Glorias. That coffee porter is nice too, I like their stock ale a lot.

Smokenscotch Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 That Hoyo looks great. Those Hoyo's are awesome. I'm going to have to beef up my collection on those Hoyo's.
