Carts
Figured I'd toss up a review. Today's weather was too nice to pass up. Aroma at cold – honey like sweetness and tobacco Cold draw – firm, brought a straight cutter in case the punch doesn’t prove to be enough. Drink: Japanese Sencha green tea. Start time 4:05 pm 1/3 – first draw tastes like shortbread cookies with toasted edges, some honey too. The draw coming out of the punch hole is too tight, time for a snip. Getting a nice honey sweetness off of this, smoke output is null though. About an inch in and the draw is opening up – weird, I thought I felt the knot under the band – not complaining. The sweetness has made its way out of the mix and in comes some prominent leather tones. 2/3 – the second third brings wood and more leather. There is some harshness on the tongue. A nice long finish as the flavours resonate on the tongue. Not much else here. Slowly some baking sweetness creeps in but the wood and leather are going strong. Looks like the baking sweetness isn’t giving up. The aforementioned harshness is gone. I’d put the strength at a true medium. Moving on.. 3/3 – Complete turn around for this final third. Starting off with nothing but shortbread. No harshness, no wood, no leather, just cookies. This is what I was waiting for. If you blind tasted the second third and this final third you wouldn’t even know it’s the same cigar. Some toasted tobacco coming in too. I wish this third was longer haha. End Time: 5:20 pm This was great, it came out of a cab that has been so-so thus far but this one was the tops. 91/100. Without the snug draw for the first inch it would easily be 93. Rye
Interesting pairing! I love that tea, but I worry that the bitterness in it would affect the cigar experience in a bad way. I'll have to give it a try. Great review @@Carts! Carts

But I like the idea of pairing sticks with tea
