I've seen lots of dogs lurking in the background of the "What have you been smoking?" thread, and I'm just over a couple weeks out from getting my first dog (other than family dogs as a kid). Thought we should have a thread to share our furry friends. I know when I mentioned I was going to see the puppies this past weekend, Taz mentioned he wanted pictures.

So, here are a few pics of puppies (1 of which we will be getting at the end of the month). We will be getting one from the younger litter, we just aren't sure which one yet. I'll definitely be posting a pic when we do.

Please feel free to share yours.

There are currently 2 litters of Bernese Mountain Dogs at this breed, one litter of 10 at 7.5 weeks old, and one litter of 9 at 6 weeks old. It's puppy mayhem.

Awww. I have a bud here who has a couple. We are taking a little break from dogs. Have had 3 great Danes over past 12 years. Last one in the picture went way too young for the wrong reason. So for now its a low input ragdoll cat to keep the kids happy.post-6-139699471809_thumb.jpgpost-6-139699472954_thumb.jpg

Bahaha, that is such a great pic for the cat.

a friend told me about these Ragdolls and I was skeptical but after visiting a couple in person you realize they are more dog than cat

Already protecting the baby. Lucky kid, will have a best friend the instant he is born.

People can say whatever they want but the moment my wife got pregnant he always sleeps on her belly. Didn't happen before....Believe it or not. I have already told my wife that the first thing I will do when we get home from the hospital is laying the baby down and get the dog to leak the heck out of him/her.....So looking forward to see that. I just need to remember taping it ;).

I'm a cat person myself...

I caught him in a trap when I was trying to get a raccoon. He was a feral little kitten, barely weighed enough to trip the trap door.

Now I can't sit on the sofa to watch TV without him climbing up the sofa edge and lounge on my shoulder to sleep! He follows me around constantly, just like a dog!
