This is definitely a nice cigar to look at. The wrapper is a deep, rich brown. The cigar smells fantastic prelight. There’s a ton of sweetness present on the wrapper.

I gave the cigar a straight cut. The cold draw is pretty mild. Just some tobacco and cedar notes present.

On the light, I’m hit with a big blast of pepper. It’s not appealing. The finish is long and peppery.

Thankfully the pepper settles down after a few minutes, but the flavor profile is pretty flat. Just not much going on. The cigar is burning great, however.

As things progress, the cigar does become smoother but there really isn’t much happening on my palate. Some faint raisin notes enter the mix but that’s about it. It’s a perfectly smokable cigar, but there’s just not enough there to keep it interesting. I decide that this cigar really isn’t my cup of tea.

The cigar goes out about halfway through and I take that as a sign from the cigar Gods, and don’t bother relighting it.

Construction Notes: About the only bright spot. Great draw. Great burn up until it went out at the halfway point.

When to smoke it: Ehhhh, maybe just don’t. Smoke an Allegiance instead.

Size: 5″ x 50Origin: NicaraguaWrapper: USABinder: EcuadorFiller: NicaraguaSmoking Time: 40 minutes (I put it down early)Body: Medium-FullStrength: Medium-FullPrice: $11.25 Lets start with some positive news.
