SmokenWhisky
Boveda says to throw out your packs once they dry out but I read online that they could be recharged so I gave it shot. I threw one small 69% boveda inside a pint glass inside a sealed tupperware container filled with distilled water. I would guess you wouldn't want to use tap water just like in a humidifier. I actually completely forgot i was doing this experiment until my wife found it and was like "WTF is this ?" hahaha. I think its been about 3 weeks maybe coming up to 4. The boveda wasn't completely done and brittle but it was a tad low and now its extra puffy. Hard to tell in pics but I'd say its almost double thick. Pretty cool. I've got two big 84% bags seasoning a new 50 ct humidor right now and am glad that I won't be throwing them in the garbage as suggested by Boveda. Ryansurrey
I do the same thing. I have had the same 65 boveda packs for a year now. Recharged them severial times with no issues.
