  1. Decided to show my love for stogies at work with a new water cup. Wife had this cup lying around so I snagged it. Dove into my stash of bands like a kid into a pile of leaves and pulled out a few. Even included a fauxhiba maduro 5 label for you lovers of fauxhibas. Anyways. I digest Here it is.
  2. Thought I'd share a quick DIY for those of you wondering what to do with empty tobacco tins. I made this empty 100g tin into a portable pipe ashtray by gluing in a slice of champagne cork for a knocker. When I'm done, I can seal away the mess and odour by twisting the lid back on. Fits in a pocket, goes anywhere, and if I lose it I've got plenty more tins hanging around! 😄
  3. I'll start by saying its been a wile since I've been back on here, life got really busy! Not sure how many of you have given a go at building a humidor but I had a friend ask me to give it a go. The one I made is about a 80-100 count box and made from solid walnut. The lid is a book matched walnut crotch with the grain pattern arranged to give a subtle nod to a tobacco leaf. Trim is curly maple. The box is lined with spanish cedar. Unfortunately the budget wasn't very big so I wasn't able to use nicer hinges but overall I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Let me know what you think and post photos if you've made one, I'd love to see others work!
  4. Anyone knows how to open Credo Rondo humidifiers? I have a pair of Rondos I'd like to upgrade to beads. I believe they lasted their time, and would like to refresh them with newer humidification technology, but I fail to understand how they are fabricated, and how to pry them open without destroying their integrity. Any advice would be greatly welcomed.
